The Drunken Film Festival returns this October with a packed programme of free events across the Bradford district. Known for bringing independent film to unexpected spaces, the festival offers screenings, filmmaker Q&As, stand-up comedy, live music, and a strong sense of community. It’s not about alcohol—it’s about being immersed in film.

This year’s venues include:

  • 4 October – 1in12

  • 7 October – The Unit Bradford / Keighley Creative

  • 10 October – Upstairs at Pennybank

  • 12 & 17 October – Darley Street Market 

  • 14 October – Brass Owl

  • 22 October – Record Café

  • 23 October – Cow & Calf

  • 24–26 October – Fountain Street Arts (with accompanying art exhibition)
