Join the Bradford South Asian Festival for Shadmanny!, a joyful weekend celebrating the colour, music, and traditions of South Asian weddings. Expect a full-on desi takeover of Bradford Arts Centre with vibrant workshops, performances, and film screenings for all ages.

Saturday highlights include:

  • Festival Parade with dhol drummers and dancing – 12:00

  • Mehndi Masterclass with Sonia Fayyaz (£10) – 12:30

  • Gajra Making Workshop – 13:00

  • Little Foodies tasting session – 13:30

  • Antakshari Singalong – 14:30

  • Bollywood Dance Session – 18:00

  • Sing-Along-A-DDLJ screening of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge – 19:30

Sunday highlights include:

  • My Big Fat Desi Wedding – Behind the Dazzle talk – 11:00
